Stayed at the Hotel Astoria Garden in September 2003 for a week. The hotel has a fabulous location, tucked away behind Termini Station (which is not the scary place it's made out to be - not at all!). Our room was quite small, but very clean, quiet and comfortable. Shower was a tad unpredictable though. Breakfast was fine - coffee was plentiful, and there was the usual bread, yoghurt, juice etc. Overall the hotel was great value considering it's in the centre of the city. We visit Italy often, and would go back to the Astoria next time we are in Rome.

We stayed at the Astoria Garden Hotel in December 2003 and found it to be a great little hotel. We used their shuttle service from the airport for EURO 55.00 (for 4 people) which saved us a lot of aggravation. The hotel is located between two metro stops which made getting around very easy. There were also lots of good, inexpensive restauransts in the area. The showers were wonderful and the staff was very helpful.

After two tiny showers in London and Paris, getting the showers here seemed huge! Very clean, spacious, and the staff is extremely friendly. The hotel is a short walk from Termini, which gets you where ever you want to go. Breakfast was acceptable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Rome.
