My boyfriend and I just came back from a fantastic weekend in Rome, where we stayed at this beautiful new hotel! Every detail in the hotel is complete. The hotel is very beautiful, the lobby, the courtyard with the lit up windows, the roof, the views from the rooftop and the romantic mornings having breakfast at the restaurant (also on the rooftop). But most important is that for a design hotel the service was great and the staff was very warm and friendly which usually in not the case in design hotels. I will recomend the es hotel to all my friends becuase it is the chicest hotel in all of Rome, no doubt!

The Es. is a beautiful hotel, located in an "alternative" neighborhood which I actually liked because the other typical tourist areas of Rome like the Spanish Steps have become like Disneyland. The staff was quite warm and helpful and offered personal service. For example my luggage was left behind in LA and I couldn't get in touch with the airline (I had tried for 2 hours!), somehow the Concierge (Claudio) made miracles happen and my luggage arrived the next morning. I had no problems throughout my stay (4 days) and will definitely reccomend this hotel to my friends. People who don't like the location should stay in their gardens and stop travelling. I think the es. is a different kind of hotel experience and definitely a fresh alternative to the old hotels in Rome.

Very disappointing

I was at the Es Hotel last summer. Located near the train station, Es
Hotel does not look like a hotel at first sight : the lobby is like a
museum entrance, quite cold. The corridors are very dark. My room was
small (not even enough space to open my luggage). When I wanted to take
a shower in the bath, it was impossible to have the good temperature
(water was flooded everywhere).The good thing at Es hotel is the nice
swimming pool and bar on the last floor (but on one side you have the
view on the railways).Very poor service, Es Hotel is design hotel where
nothing works (I love design hotels, but not Es Hotel). I was supposed
to stay 3 nights, I decided to leave the hotel after 2 nights. Big
disappointment!
