I was four days in Rome with my wife (March 1 to 4, 2004) at this hotel. Definitely this hotel is not a four stars hotel. It should be no more than 2-1/2 stars. The room we stayed had a fixture hanging. Also, from the ceiling there was a pipe coming out with some wires, the walls were dirty and in some areas the wallpaper was peeling off. The bathroom didn't have facial paper. The breakfast is average, and the location is fine if you are visiting the Vatican City. Definitely I won't come back to this hotel.
we had a very good holiday at the nova domus hotel. staff very helpful, from our room on the top floor we had a nice view on S. Peter Dome. We even had our breakfast al fresco. Vatican at wolking distance, shopping center as well, and the subway stop at just 5 minutes walking distance allowed us to visit the city at the best condition. We reccomend to all our friends, it was really a very nice stay.
Stayed at Morgana for 4 nights in early November. It was my first trip to Rome and the hotel was booked over the internet. Our standard room was possibly the smallest I've seen but considering we spent all our time out and about enjoying such a wonderful city, this wasn't a problem at all! Our bathroom was also tiny and the water pressure fairly pathetic, but other features made up for it: the room was decorated beautifully with tapestry wall hangings and a huge comfy bed. Buffet breakfast was varied and delicious. About a 15 minute walk to the colosseum and 40 minutes to Trevi Fountain. The price was affordable and we would stay here again. |
